New Directors sought to help shape future of Trust

The corporate Trustee of the Building Change Trust; the Building Change Trust Limited having reviewed its performance and governance during the first year of operations wishes to recruit two additional Directors to augment its current Board of Directors.

The Trustee has the power to appoint both full Directors, who will become members of the company and/or co-opted Directors, who will not be members of the company.

The Trust is particularly interested in individuals with experience in the areas of Human Resources, Accountancy and Marketing but welcomes applications from individuals with a wide range of knowledge, skills and experience.

Commitment expected

On average the time commitment expected is approximately 10 days per annum. The Board has been meeting monthly but expects the frequency of meetings to decrease. A Finance and General Purposes sub committee has recently been agreed which it is anticipated will meet quarterly.

Expenses

The position of Director is unpaid. However the Trust will reimburse out of pocket expenses incurred by Directors in carrying out their role.
