Collaboration NI announce major launch conference

Collaboration NI has announced a major launch conference for 30 March 2011 taking place at NICVA Belfast.

Commissioned by the Building Change Trust from NICVA in association with CO3 and Stellar Leadership the £1million 3 year Collaboration NI initiative is also being supported by the Department for Social Development.

The Better Together conference taking place on 30 March  is an important start to this service and will begin the process of sharing practice, research and information to help organisations and leaders consider the role of mergers, collaboration and partnership particularly in the current economic climate.

The conference will have a mix of guest speakers and roundtable discussion and includes staff from Cleaver Fulton Rankin and Goldblatt McGuigan discussing the legal and financial implications of collaboration, Anne O' Reilly and Professor Brendan McCormack from AGE NI discussing lessons from the Age Concern and Help the Aged merger along with the opportunoty to find out more about what Collaboration NI will offer in the coming years.
