BIG publish initial evaluation of Trust

The Big Lottery Fund have published the preliminary report of their commissioned evaluation of The Building Change Trust.

Commissioned by BIG and carried out by FGS McClure Watters this 2 year formative evaluation was set up to assess: the set up and early delivery of the Trust; how effective this model has been in engaging with the Community and Voluntary (C&V) sector; and the impact of the Trust Fund model.

The evaluation is largely positive in respect of progress made to date but also outlines some key areas for improvement notably in respect of communication and policy development.

The Trust Directors will be examining the report and its findings carefully in the coming weeks and identifying where action can be taken to contribute to further development and improvement of the Trust. A copy of the full report is available here
